hi my name is Jenna
And i don't have any planted tank but i have try a plant and it died idk why.
i hope to some day have a small planted tank. :)
Cichild are like tree's they come in all different shapes color and size.

Jenna,

Welcome to the group! If you are starting out, I would recommend starting with a 20g high planted aquarium. The size is perfect for beginners, you'll have a lot of lighting options for that size tank, and room to grow and create aquascapes.

Hi Jenna,

There is a lot of great information on this site and if you don't see it ask.
I have never seen a "stupid" question so do not think that about any question that you have.

FYI If you want to start a planted tank just know that the light that came with the tank is not bright enough to keep plants alive (except for a couple) and there are so many plant to choose from.
When I read about the evils of drinking I gave up reading.

Thanks do u think have a moss ball and some java fern in a 12gallon with 1 ram and some tetra be ok?

Unless the moss ball is the size of a soccer ball there is easily room for those and more .
