Pretty low tech if you ask me.

Its been up an running for about 2 years now.
I tore it down and sold mostly everything besides my school of Serpae's and my school of Glo lights.
I just cleaned the tank up a little bit today and took some pictures.

Water stats-

Nitrates- Zero
Ammonia- Zero
PH- around 8.2, need to lower this
Nitrites- Zero

Did a 15% water change today, added some PH decreaser.
I bought 7 cardinal tetras a few days ago, 4 have died, have got 3 strong survivors LOL
So i picked up 3 neons today for the 3 Cardinals. LFS was out of Cardinals, im going to pick up
5 more Cardinals next week when my fish order comes in. I also added 4 cherry Barbs today.

Picssss

All the Hygro is from Non_Compliance
Ive got some other plants that are struggling, i need to get my hands on some clippings from someone here.

Its been a work in progress since day one.
I'll be switching over to Mineralized soil when i get the 90 fired up.

Cutting the light back is one way... you can also try to kill it by turning everything off and putting some cidex/excel or hydrogen peroxide on it..

Yeah that stuff is only in there to clear up dead space.
Tank use to be fully planted.
We went on vacation and i sold mostly everything to cut down on
maintenance while we were gone.

Picked up 2 Silver Veil Angels and 1 Broken Silver Veil Angel today.
Waiting on the fish store to get in more Cardinals and i will be picking up 6 of those little guys.
Probably call it quits after that for fish. Might get a small school of Cory's moving around. Havent decided yet.

Here is a new picture from today. Rock stack
on the left had fallen. I noticed it after the
pictures andgot everything standing back up.
Rearranged the rock layout a little bit, so
things are a little more solid now.

FYI: u can trim out all those random roots on teh hygro... also, if you have some nice tops, it might be good to chop them and replant them... you can trim the stems that are left down to a couple inches... it will come back and look nicer.

Yeah I know i can trim them down, i already have.
I only used half of the plants you sent me.
When i planted the ones pictured, the stems were only
about 5 or 6 inches long.

Scored today
Picked up 3 platinum angels off of craigslist for $3. Yes $3!!
