Trevs 5.5 rimless journal picture heavy

This is my 5.5 journal/build thread.
will be an iwagumi style aquascape.

okay more specs and a picture update kinda.
specs: 5.5gallon rimless (de-rimmed and double sealed by yours truely)
lighting: 1x 26 watt 6500k daylight spiral (ditched the pc setup, too hard to find bulbs)
CO2: yes, DIY method, with a nano diffuser(diffuser should be here sometime this week, then ill get that rollin)
Filtration: NO, tank will be heavily planted when im done
now that the boring stuff is out of the way, picture time!!!
These are of the emersed tank.(has since been filled and 2 guppies added)

I had seen a thread over at The Planted Tank that people were discussing this and the consensus was that any 10gal or smaller tank you can make rimless by cutting the silicon that holds on the top rim. Be warned that you'll only be able to fill up the tank to the point where you cut the silicon though or you face a good change of it leaking.

no updates on the tank. Everything has been transfered to a 20g long, needed more room.. my guppies have been breeding like crazy and i have over 40 fry swimming around and more in the belly of the mother. Soon the tank will be full of them. IF ANYONE WANTS SOME GUPPY FRY PM ME! FREEBIES. take as many as you want. i want to replace them with neons.
as for this tank, its been converted to a pico reef.
